I’ve been a big fan of bike sharing since I first used one in Washington, D.C. back in 2014. So I’ve been following along with Explore Bike Share for years as they made plans, sought community input, and raised funds to bring a bike share system to Memphis. I was thrilled when DCA asked me to make a video educating riders on how to use the system as part of the official roll out.

The design and layout by John David Dowdle, lent themselves beautifully to the energetic sliding action I created in After Effects, blending the the text info with live footage. I also made a second version with a vertical layout for Explore Bike Share to use in their Instagram story.
